FORT HOOD, Texas – Fort Hood officials confirm there is no shelter-in-place order in effect for the installation.

Directorate of Emergency Services personnel responded to a report of an alleged security concern at Cooper Field and determined the threat was unsubstantiated.

The safety and security of our soldiers, families, civilian employees, and visitors remain Fort Hood’s highest priority.

Installation officials and emergency personnel will continue to monitor conditions and will provide additional updates as necessary.
