FORT HOOD, Texas – The Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center will host the annual 2026 Fort Hood Joint Emergency Medicine Exercise, or JEMX, from 31 May – 5 June. Media are invited to observe the training from 9-11 a.m. June 4.
JEMX is a large-scale, multi-service combat casualty care exercise designed to validate and train medical professionals in a realistic, contested operational environment.
The exercise brings together over 400 service members from 22 units, representing over 15 medical specialties alongside our multi-national partners from the United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, the Netherlands, and the Republic of Korea.
Media interested in covering the event must call 254-553-6218 by 4 p.m. June 2. A public affairs representative will escort media from the southside parking lot of the Marvin Leath Visitors Welcome Center at 8 a.m. June 4 to the training site.
