FORT HOOD, Texas – The Directorate of Emergency Services will conduct a temporary closure of the North Clarke Road Gate from 6 a.m. – 6 p.m. March 16-22 on North Clarke Road, to perform necessary gate repairs.
During this period, all inbound and outbound traffic will be redirected. The outbound lane will be accessible to emergency vehicles only to ensure that emergency services are not impacted.
The adjacent Access Control Point 9, the TIF Commercial Truck Inspection Gate, will not be affected by these repairs and will continue normal operations.
All personnel are encouraged to use alternate routes during the closure. The recommended alternate access control points are:
- ACP 3 (Clear Creek Gate)
- ACP 21 (79th Street Gate)
Motorists traveling to and from Fort Hood are advised to plan for additional travel time and utilize the designated alternate routes.
