FORT HOOD, Texas – Fort Hood officials have announced the temporary closure of the North Clarke Road Gate effective immediately.

The closure is necessary due to ongoing weather-related road conditions.

During this period, the truck inspection facility at the North Clarke Road Gate will remain operational to continue vetting commercial vehicles before redirecting them, but the gate is closed to all other traffic.

Commercial vehicle drivers who require access to Fort Hood are encouraged to stay updated on the status of cargo traffic. The latest information and any further updates regarding gate operations will be posted on the Fort Hood Media Center and the Fort Hood Facebook page.
