FORT HOOD, Texas – The Gary Sinise Foundation, in partnership with the Fort Hood Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation, will host the Gary Sinise and The Lt. Dan Band Military Support Concert and Fireworks Spectacular at 6 p.m. July 10 at Sadowski Field.
The event will feature live rock-and-roll entertainment dedicated to celebrating America’s 250th anniversary and the local military community. The evening will include family-friendly activities, static military displays and will conclude with a 20-minute fireworks finale.
The event is free and open to all with a valid Department of War ID-card or Installation Access Pass. Entertainment activities begin at 6 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early and to bring blankets and lawn chairs. Civilians without a Department of War ID-card may obtain a visitor pass at the Marvin Leath Visitor Center.
The concert is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. and fireworks will begin at 9 p.m. Food and refreshments will be available for purchase throughout the evening.
The concert and fireworks show will also be broadcast live on CW Central Texas starting at 7 p.m.
