FORT HOOD, Texas – Fort Hood Soldiers are gearing up to showcase their martial arts skills and compete on the mat during the Phantom Warriors Combatives Invitational II at 5 p.m. June 5 at the Warrior Way Fitness Center, located at the intersection of Old Ironsides Avenue and Red Bud Drive.
This event marks the second in an ongoing series of combatives invitationals. The inaugural tournament drew an exceptional turnout, with Soldiers from across the installation fighting it out in intense, high-energy matches. Spectators and supporters are encouraged to arrive early to secure a spot, support their respective units, and experience the high-energy atmosphere. Whether competing or cheering from the sidelines, the entire community is invited to witness this display of tactical proficiency and resilience.
Media interested in covering the event should contact the Fort Hood Media Relations team at 254-449-5298 by 3 p.m. June 4. A Fort Hood public affairs representative will meet media members at the Marvin Leath Visitor’s Center at 4:15 p.m. June 5 and escort them to the combatives event.
