FORT HOOD, Texas – The Fort Hood Transition Assistance Program will host its Mega Career Fair Summer 2026 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 16 at the Lone Star Conference Center, located at 24th Street and Wainwright Drive, Bldg. 5764.

This Mega Career Fair will feature 189 local, state, national and international employers, as well as government agencies representing thousands of worldwide employment opportunities. The event is expected to attract more than 3,500 prospective employees searching for job opportunities.

The job fair is open to transitioning soldiers, veterans, retirees, their spouses, Department of the Army civilians and members of the local community.

Media interested in covering the event should contact the Fort Hood Media Relations team at 254-449-5298 by 3 p.m. June 15. A Fort Hood public affairs representative will meet media members at the Marvin Leath Visitor’s Center at 9:30 a.m. June 16 and escort them to the event.
