FORT HOOD, Texas – The Fort Hood Mega Career Fair, which was scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 27, at the Lone Star Conference Center, has been canceled due to the ongoing inclement weather. Abrams, West Fort Hood and North Fort Hood Physical Fitness Centers remain open 24/7 for use.

The decision to cancel the Mega Career Fair was made out of an abundance of caution to ensure the safety of job seekers, employers and staff. The next Mega Career Fair is scheduled for June 2026, and multiple smaller career fairs will be held over the next few months. Additional details on those opportunities will be provided once available.

While the identified physical fitness centers are open, they are currently unmanned. Patrons who choose to use these services during the inclement weather are encouraged to use extreme caution traveling to and from the facilities.
