The Killeen Backyard Brew Fest will take place Saturday, July 25 from noon to 5 p.m. at the Killeen Special Events Center (3301 South WS Young Drive).
This family-friendly event features craft beer, live music, backyard games, competitions, and local vendors.
Activities include cornhole, giant Connect 4, ladder toss, face painting and more.
Guests can also participate in competitions such as stein hoisting, stein relays, pie-eating contests and potato sack races.
Admission to the event is free and open to all ages.
Food, beverages and beer tasting passes are available for purchase. Beer tasting passes are available for attendees ages 21 and older and include a souvenir tasting cup and samples from participating Texas craft breweries.
Pass options include 10 samples for $30, five samples for $20 or two samples for $10. A valid ID is required for alcohol consumption.

The Backyard Brew Fest replaces the previously announced Junetoberfest event, which was rescheduled and reimagined to accommodate other community events.
