Belton 4th of July PRCA & WPRA Rodeo
The PRCA Rodeo is always a highlight of the weeklong Belton 4th of July Celebration festivities, filled with wonderful traditions as well as new experiences. This is the 102nd year for Belton to host a 4th of July Rodeo, making it one of our community’s most cherished annual traditions. The Rodeo will be Thursday-Saturday, July 2-4 at the indoor, air-conditioned Cadence Bank Center (formerly known as Bell County Expo).
Each night of the rodeo features a different theme, with opening night on Thursday is Hometown Heroes Night honoring our first responders and educators. Friday, being Military Appreciation Night, honoring our men and women who have and are currently serving. Saturday, July 4 is Family Night at the Rodeo with children ages 12 and under getting in free with a paid adult general admission. To make Family Night at the Rodeo even better, the KPA Engineers Stick Horse Stampede will provide an opportunity for children ages 4 and up to run around on the arena floor prior to the start of the rodeo. No special registration is required for the Family Night Stick Horse Stampede, but all children wishing to participate will need to arrive by 6:15 p.m. on Saturday, July 4. Children are encouraged to bring their favorite stick horse to ride, or a few will be available to borrow at the rodeo.
