FORT HOOD, Texas – The Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center administrative offices and clinics will modify hours of operation 19-22 June in observance of the Juneteenth holiday. Emergency services, inpatient care, and labor and delivery services will not be affected and remain open every day.
All clinics and pharmacies will be closed Friday, 19 June in observance of the holiday, and most will resume normal operations on Monday, 22 June.
The Monroe, Russell Collier (Active-Duty hallway APACHE), Yoakum-Defrenn Army Heliport Aviation Clinic, and Bennett Health Clinics will be closed for active-duty service members Monday, June 22. Any service members enrolled at either of these clinics can seek care at the Thomas Moore Health Clinic from 6:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
The Killeen, Russell Collier (family members only), West Killeen, and Harker Heights Community Based Medical Homes, Thomas Moore, and Troop Medical Clinic 14 Soldier Centered Medical Homes, CRDAMC Internal Medicine, Family Medicine Residency and Pediatric clinics and services will be open Monday, June 22.

Clear Creek PX Pharmacy will be open from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Monday, 22 June
The main hospital, Clear Creek PX, and Thomas Moore Health Clinic pharmacies will be open.
Avoid waiting in line as beneficiaries are highly encouraged to use Q-Anywhere for new prescription activation during working hours. Q-Anywhere now allows activation even when the pharmacy is closed after hours. To initiate or activate your prescription processing, TEXT, “Get in Line” to 855-812-6030 (do not call as this is a text only system). You may also pick up refills at the Automated Vending Machine, or ScriptCenter, by selecting to send your refills to the Main Hospital ScriptCenter located in the main lobby, to the Clear Creek PX ScriptCenter located in the pharmacy hallway or alternately contacting the Pharmacy Call Center at 254-288-8800 for assistance.
TRICARE Prime enrollees with urgent, emergent care needs should seek assistance at the CRDAMC emergency department during the holiday.
For questions or concerns, the Nurse Advice Line is available 24/7 by calling (800) TRICARE or 1- 800- 874-2273 and selecting Option 1.
This advice line affords Fort Hood area residents, entitled to military health care, the opportunity to talk with registered nurses about their specific urgent health issues, guidance on non-emergency situations and information about self-care for injuries or illnesses.
Beneficiaries can make or cancel appointments through the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal at patientportal.mhsgenesis.health.mil or by calling the Patient Appointment Service at 254-288-8888. Through the patient portal beneficiaries can also request pharmacy refills, and access health information like, lab results, radiology reports, pathology reports, and clinical notes as soon as they’re available.
