FORT HOOD, Texas — The Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation at Fort Hood will host Fort Hood Fight Night: Return 2 the Ring at 6 p.m. Sept. 12 at Abrams Physical Fitness Center.
Fight Night: Return 2 the Ring will include eight fast-paced bouts featuring active-duty service members from units across the installation. Each bout will consist of three two-minute rounds, delivering an evening of high-energy competition and camaraderie.
Food and beverages will also be available for purchase.
This event is open to all individuals with installation access. Doors will open at 5 p.m., and attendees are encouraged to come early to get a seat. Civilians who wish to attend but do not have a Department of Defense identification card may obtain an installation visitor pass at the Marvin Leath Visitor Center.
Fighter weigh-ins will be held at 8 a.m. Sept. 11 at III Armored Corps Headquarters.
In preparation for the event, Abrams Physical Fitness Center workout areas will close at 9 a.m. Sept. 12. The fitness center will reopen at 9 a.m. Sept. 13, but the basketball court will not be available until 9 a.m. Sept. 15.
