FORT HOOD, Texas – Army units will conduct live-fire training exercises as part of ongoing readiness and planning from 2-3 p.m. Aug. 21 at North Fort Hood near Flat, Texas.
The training may result in loud explosions and reverberations that may occasionally be heard in the surrounding communities.
“Fort Hood is dedicated to being a good neighbor,” said Chris Haug, Fort Hood Public Affairs director. “We strive to balance our training requirements while respecting our neighboring communities which is why we will continue to inform the public about these training events.”
