FORT CAVAZOS (Now designated Fort Hood), Texas – FORT CAVAZOS (Now designated Fort Hood)’ Directorate of Emergency Services and Cavalry Family Housing will host its annual National Night Out Celebration from 6 to 9 p.m. Oct. 1 at Phantom Warrior Stadium.
This nationwide celebration is geared toward heightening crime prevention awareness and strengthening neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships.
The event is open to everyone who lives on FORT CAVAZOS (Now designated Fort Hood), including those living in the barracks.
Cavalry Family Housing and FORT CAVAZOS (Now designated Fort Hood) is partnering with the FORT CAVAZOS (Now designated Fort Hood) Police, 89th Military Police Brigade, FORT CAVAZOS (Now designated Fort Hood) Fire Department, Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation, Army & Air Force Exchange Service, United Services Organization and other FORT CAVAZOS (Now designated Fort Hood) partners in the post effort to take a bite out of crime.

Attending media should meet in the parking lot on the south side of the Marvin Leath Visitors Center on T.J. Mills Boulevard by 5:30 p.m. Oct. 1 to be escorted to the Phantom Warrior Stadium parking lot.
