FORT HOOD, Texas — A flash flood watch has been issued for Fort Hood and surrounding areas due to sustained heavy rainfall. All personnel are urged to exercise extreme caution and avoid low-lying areas, underpasses, and roadways prone to flooding.

Do not attempt to walk or drive through flooded areas. Seek higher ground if you are in a flood-prone location. Installation emergency management teams are monitoring conditions and will provide further instructions as needed.
