The Fallen Heroes 5K returns on Saturday, May 16 at 8 a.m. at the Andy K. Wells Hike & Bike Trail (2201 East Veterans Memorial Boulevard). This annual race honors those who made the ultimate sacrifice and brings the community together in their memory.

Registration is $25 through May 11 and is available online at www.killeentexas.gov/centex. Registration will continue after May 11 at an increased price, including on race day.

The race is part of the Cen-Tex Race Series, with medals awarded to top male and female overall finishers and to first, second, and third place in each male and female age group.

T-shirts are limited to the first 300 registered participants.
