City of Killeen - Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Basic Training
The City of Killeen’s Office of Homeland Security & Emergency Management will host a three-day Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Basic Training designed to help residents prepare for emergencies and disasters.
The course is open to adults 18 years and older and will take place May 15-17, 2026. The schedule includes an evening session on Friday from 6 to 10 p.m., followed by two full-day sessions on Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Participants must obtain a FEMA Student ID, create a TDEM training account, and register online prior to attending.
