FORT HOOD, Texas – Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center administrative offices and clinics will modify hours Aug. 29 – Sept. 1 in observance of the Labor Day federal holiday. The hospital remains open every day for emergency services, inpatient care, and labor and delivery services.
Monroe and Bennett Health Clinics will be closed Friday, Aug. 29. Active-Duty Service members enrolled to either of those clinics should seek care at Thomas Moore Health Clinic that day.
The Killeen, West Killeen, and Harker Heights Community Based Medical Homes, Thomas Moore, Russell Collier, Troop Medical Clinic 14, and Yoakum-Defrenn Army Heliport Aviation Clinic Soldier Centered Medical Homes, CRDAMC Internal Medicine, Family Medicine Residency and Pediatric clinics and services will be open Friday, Aug. 29.
Pharmacies
All Community Based Medical Home pharmacies (Harker Heights, Killeen, and West Killeen) closed March 3 until further notice, and other clinics pharmacy hours were adjusted to better serve beneficiaries. Beneficiaries are encouraged to use the Clear Creek PX Pharmacy, the ScriptCenters located in the main hospital lobby or at the Clear Creek Pharmacy, or the Pharmacy Call Center by calling (254) 288-8800.

Main Hospital Pharmacy: Monday–Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Soldier-Centered Health Clinics:
Russell Collier: Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Closed for lunch Noon–1 p.m.)
Monroe: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Closed for lunch Noon–1 p.m.)
Bennett: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Closed for lunch Noon–1 p.m.)
Thomas Moore: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Does not close for lunch.)
The SCHC pharmacies will close at noon on the third Friday of each month. The Clear Creek PX Pharmacy will close at 3 p.m. on the third Friday of the month.
Monroe and Bennett pharmacies will be closed Aug. 29.
All other pharmacies will have normal operating hours.
Clear Creek PX Pharmacy will be open Aug. 30 from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
All other pharmacies will be closed.

TRICARE Prime enrollees with urgent or emergent care needs should seek assistance at the CRDAMC emergency department during this day.
All CRDAMC clinics and pharmacies will resume normal hours of operation on Sept. 2.

This advice line affords Fort Hood area residents, entitled to military health care, the opportunity to talk with registered nurses about their specific urgent health issues, guidance on non-emergency situations and information about self-care for injuries or illnesses.
Beneficiaries can make or cancel appointments through the Patient Portal at patientportal.mhsgenesis.health.mil or by calling the Patient Appointment Service at 254-288-8888. Through this patient portal, beneficiaries can also request pharmacy refills, and access health information like laboratory results, radiology results and immunization records.
