FORT CAVAZOS (Now designated Fort Hood), Texas  – The Clarke Road truck inspection facility for FORT CAVAZOS (Now designated Fort Hood) will be temporarily closed Oct. 16 through approximately Dec. 16, allowing for renovations to be made to the guardhouse.

The truck inspection facility will be relocated to the West FORT CAVAZOS (Now designated Fort Hood) alternate cargo gate at Clarke Road, just south of Interstate 14 and across the street from the West FORT CAVAZOS (Now designated Fort Hood) Express.

Normal hours of operation will continue at the alternative gate.

Truckers delivering cargo to FORT CAVAZOS (Now designated Fort Hood) are encouraged to stay informed on updates to cargo traffic at FORT CAVAZOS (Now designated Fort Hood) via the FORT CAVAZOS (Now designated Fort Hood) Media Center.
