FORT CAVAZOS (Now designated Fort Hood) police patrols and FORT CAVAZOS (Now designated Fort Hood) game wardens are patrolling the area searching for the bobcat.
The safety of our Soldiers, Civilians, Contractors, and Families is of utmost importance. FORT CAVAZOS (Now designated Fort Hood) officials will continue searching for the bobcat and, if found and captured, will remove the bobcat from the housing area. If a FORT CAVAZOS (Now designated Fort Hood) housing resident views a bobcat in the housing area, residents should move small animals and small children inside. Once inside, residents should call the FORT CAVAZOS (Now designated Fort Hood) Police Department at 254-288-1170.
As a precautionary measure, residents should avoid leaving pet food outside as this will encourage bobcats who are looking for food to enter housing areas.
